Privacy notice for inquiries

Important Privacy Notice: This portal is intended only to help you contact healthcare providers and inquire about their services. Do not include personal health information, including symptoms, diagnoses, medications, medical history, health card numbers or other sensitive medical details. This is not a medical consultation or emergency service. For a medical emergency, call 911. To continue, confirm that you understand and will not include personal health information.

What we collect and why

• To send your inquiry: your name, email, optional phone and optional city / postal code, the inquiry type and your short message. These are encrypted when stored and shown only to the provider you contacted (and, if needed, to authorized Alchemy support staff — every such access is logged).
• Email notifications to the provider contain your name and the inquiry type only — never your message.
• Planning statistics: only with your separate consent, your city and the first three characters of your postal code are used in anonymous counts. Small numbers are hidden so no one can be identified.
• Search and page statistics are anonymous (no names, no IP addresses stored) and never include inquiry text.
• Optional follow-up: if you agree, we email you once to ask whether you were able to connect. Answers are counted anonymously.

How long we keep it

• Message text is deleted after 90 days.
• Your name, email, phone and area are deleted after 180 days.
• Anonymous counts (for example “one inquiry, connected to service”) are kept for planning and reporting.

Messages that look like they contain health card numbers or dates of birth are refused; messages that seem to include clinical details are held for review before delivery. To ask about your information, contact Alchemy.

Terms for providers and organizations

Alchemy Health Connect is a directory and contact service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to represent the listed professional or organization. You agree to keep your listing and availability up to date, to use inquiries only for general, non-clinical contact, and not to exchange medical information through the portal. Alchemy reviews listings and may verify credentials with the appropriate regulator, request changes, or reject, suspend or unpublish a listing. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee by Alchemy. Your account email is kept private and used only for portal notices; your public contact details are shown on your listing.
